Started the band in 1989, makes their debut from PONY CANYON in 1991. In 1992, the bass and also a leader of the band, Ueda Kenji, leaves. Though having to stop the band for a while, they move to the KING RECORD in 1994. A good and established reputation of their shows leads the many offers to many shows. Over 70 shows through out a year. After the release of "Strange Chameleon", the number of people coming to their shows increases. The life style of Yamanaka Sawao sure caught the hearts of the youngs. There are also many musicians and artists who admire and respects the pillows and appears to their shows. From the year of 1996, they begin their own event called "DELICIOUS BUMP SHOW!!" As shown in the title, all the people who were involved enjoys the event. This events are held all over Japan and you could tell from the shows the way how the events really should be. In 1999, they made "DELICIOUS LABEL" owned by Yamanaka Sawao, according to the event. They release the alternative rock sound which there ain't many in Japan. noodles who performed in SXSW last year is one of the band of this label. "Ride on the shooting star" released in 2000, was an ending theme song of "FLCL" produced by "GAINAX" known all over the world. Most of the songs used in this original animation film is from the pillows. Their 15th anniversary this year, they released a tribute album performed by many famous artists in Japan. Their songs give hope and power to the listeners. "feel than to think" is just the right word for the band and they are one of the few bands that could express that in Japan...

In 1991, four young girls gathered to start the band Noodles, performing their first shows in Yokohama.
In 1995, they released their debut album "JYURYOKU DOROBO" on the Benten Label. That same year, the girls wrote and recorded a song for a Coca-Cola commercial. The song became a big hit and was a radio favorite throughout Japan. In 1999, the band moved to Delicious, the new label run by rocker Yamanaka Sawao of The Pillows. Noodles began to focus their efforts on recording and playing shows. Since then, the girls toured Japan eight times, building a legion of loyal fans. In March, 2003, they opened for their heroes, The Breeders, in Osaka. Later that year, Noodles started to branch out overseas by performing at the CMJ Music Marathon. They have since been back to the States for four times US tours and have appeared at SXSW two years in a row. Their most recent US tour, in spring. 2005, was as the opening act on the very successful Delicious Bump Tour with anime champions, The Pillows. 2006, Noodles became the grand prix of the Rock section in Japan of DIESEL U-MUSIC. 2007, Noodles was done the tour in SF, LA, and NY and made it big again. 2008,They performed to MIDEM that is one of the world's largest music trade fairs as a representative from Japan. Even with the 2004 loss of their second guitarist, Junko, the girls show no sign of slowing down. In fact, their songwriting has never been better and their fan base, both in Japan and in the States, just keeps on growing. Noodles remain Japan's best all-girl rock ensemble.

Formation in 2003. It is a sound putting out of pop to the key. Three people are both from Fukushima. A live performance performs at first of the formation to a lot of events popular. It transfers the register to DELICIOUS LABEL to which Yamanaka Sawao of the pillows in 2005 serves as the representative. One mini album, a full one album, and the V.A 2 piece have been released by the Yamanaka Sawao produce in the past.

POP CHOCOLAT is a Japanese girlie band from Kyoto.
Led by guitarist..singer..songwriter MIHO and drummer..singer..songwriter NATSUKO they started performing around KYOTO and OSAKA in 2000.
In 2002 they were joined by bassist..singer AIKA and their debut album "NIJIIRO FALSETTO" was released on the "DAIZAWA" label in 2005.After moving to Tokyo in 2006 they released their 2nd mini album "Rhythm" which met a favorable reception.
AIKA left the band in February 2007 and POP CHOCOLAT continued working with their other supporting musicians MICHIKO and SHIHO.In November 2007 MICHIKO became their regular bassist..singer and in February 2010 SHIHO became their regular keyboardist..singer.The four of them are currently performing. Their new mini album "Trip" is due for release on the "DELICIOUS LABEL" on March 10th 2010. The album was produced by Sawao Yamanaka the vocalist..guitarist from Japanese rock band "the pillows".
